We open your lock
Your lock. Not the neighbour’s, not a bike that ‘belongs to a friend’. If you can show it is your bike, cargo bike, scooter or motorcycle, we open it.
Usually the key is lost or snapped off. Sometimes the cylinder spins because someone already tried in the night. Sometimes a ring lock has rusted shut after a winter outside. The story changes. The job does not: the lock opens, the frame stays whole.
We start at the cylinder. Opening is quieter and often enough. If it is not, we cut the lock. The disc goes through the lock’s steel, not your fork, your rim or the battery cradle.
Then you are standing with a bike that will not lock. In Amsterdam that is a bad minute. So we carry locks. Chain, U-lock or a new ring lock, fitted before we leave. Buying a lock does not have to be a second appointment.
What we do not do: a front door, a car, a safe. And we force nothing for someone without proof it is theirs, or a clear photo of an ID plus something that belongs with the bike. That protects you if your bike ever goes missing.
The rate is dull, on purpose. €75 including call-out within 15 km of postcode 1063. Each kilometre beyond that is €1. Centre + €25. Evening from 18:00 to 00:00 + €25. Night from 00:00 to 08:00 + €50. Express + €25 if you want to go first. Calculate your price with your address and you see the kilometres.
Message a pin, a photo of the lock and whether it is a bike, e-bike, scooter or motorcycle. Or call 06 84 62 36 12. We are now open, including when the rest of the city is shut.
Twenty years of the same work: open the lock, get the person moving, do not leave the bike wide open. No call centre reselling the job. You speak to the person who shows up.
