Opening a ring lock without wrecking the bike
The Dutch ring lock is stubborn and sits in the frame. So we work the cylinder first, not a shackle through your rear fork.
Rust, the wrong key or a lock that has not been oiled in years: opening is often still possible. We bring our own power, even in the canal belt.
We cut when opening takes too long or the cylinder is broken. Aimed at the lock. Then a replacement ring lock or chain, fitted on the spot.
Same approach for U-lock, chain and folding lock. And for the scooter: disc lock, chain, steering or seat lock. Same service, same clarity, same price.
AXA Defender, Imenso, Solid: the shackle runs through the rear fork. So we do not cut ‘somewhere near the wheel’. Cylinder first, shackle only if there is no other way.
A ring lock stops the rear wheel, it does not tie the bike to the post. A lone AXA in the centre is half a lock. After opening we can add a chain.

Insurer asking for ART: say so at once. We do not fit junk your policy will not cover. Buying a lock is agreed on the spot.
